Connecting Communities
LET'S WORK TOGETHER
“Connecting Communities” is a free/donation-based program geared towards BIPOC, culturally-based dancers and artists. “Connecting Communities” encourages communities to network while providing funding opportunities to artists and also connects local, national and international communities with accessible training and the opportunities to learn from Master Artists in different dance rhythmic traditions. This program is made possible by our funders the Mellon Foundation & California Arts Council, and our fiscal sponsor Brava Theater.
Join us for our 2024 program of donation-based, online workshops! We are excited to include artists and percussive dance traditions in-person and over Zoom in our 2024 program. Take class at Brava Theater Studios in San Francisco.
“Connecting Communities with Funders” is a free, 3-part series that aims to connect Bay Area-based BIPOC, culturally-based dancers and artists with grant organizations, and begin conversations around how to make the grant process more accessible.
